Poetry For The Heart And Soul
Laughing Eyes
The clouds of memory blow across my mind.
Moving me into, through or within another time.
Between the clouds, blue of the sky comes reflecting through.
Reminding me of eyes once known, eyes so true.
Eyes! that have reflected times of greatest joy and deepest sorrow.
Laughing, dancing eyes that hold a dream and a promise for a new tomorrow

Healing Chant
Deep in my Bone
the Goddess is alive
Deep in my cells and blood
the Life Force is strong
Deep in my heart and spirit
I believe I will heal
I feel the Goddess at my core
filling me with faith and health
Abundant Life Forces of the Universe
flow in me, and banish all disease
My blood, my bones, my cells and my body
are healing now, are healing now
The Goddess force is in me
and healing me now

To my sister Linda, who walks the same path as I. May you alway's find beauty, wonder, and peace from within. Blessed are those who live true to their own spirit.
Clarity
Alone, I sit and listen
To the silence of the night
And as the candles flicker
I bask in much delight
The moon is round, high above
For all the world to see
But somehow on this special night
It seems to glow for me
The peacefulness I'm feeling
Starts from deep inside
Tranquility, a sense of self
My soul, it shall abide
I thank the stars in the sky
And the moon so bright above
For helping me to find my way
To the Goddess and her love.....

The Change
The night was a night like any other
The moon was full
The air was warm
I looked up to the moon and felt a change
Many nights I have looked at the moon
Never feeling this warm inside
I could feel something enter my heart
Enter my soul
It was nothing to fear
It was a feeling of perfect love
Love I had never known
I took that love and used it
I use it to love myself and all that surrounds me
I now walk a new path in this life
A path of happiness and joy
Of healing and love
It is a spiritual guide that is in us all
If we just open our eyes and our heart
And allow the divine power in
Heart open free
The heart is born open and free
The soul carries with it always, remembered love
Then man puts fences around the heart and denies the soul
expecting all to be what opinion dictates they should be
Perhaps someday we will realize we are not very good at being what others dictate
The fences will be ripped down
We will then decide to be only who we are
Letting the openness and the innocents of the heart guide us
Not rejecting loves of the soul
But excepting this as who we are, being proud of the awareness we found

Take time for yourself
Take a little time each day for yourself.
Meditate or go for nature hike.
Most important show yourself love. If you can love yourself then you are open to love everything around you.

FINDING SELF
Be at peace
at whole within,
from your soul
you must begin.
There is where
you'll find yourself,
here is where
there's inner wealth.
Quiet the mind
to find the heart,
keep it still
for here's the start.
When your quiet
there's peace within,
and you will see
all new begin.
Quiet now
and feel the peace,
flowing through
let go, release.
Feel it flowing
quiet and slow,
through body tissue
to the soul it will go.
Heart rate slowing
mind is too,
this will help
in all you do.
Aura glowing
brighter now,
showing all
that you've learnt how.
Learn how to be
at peace with self,
learn how to gain
that inner stealth.
For in this place
that's only for you,
there's peace, there's quiet
and tranquility too.
Why did I not find it
long, long ago,
so my life would have had
a more peaceful flow.
