WELCOME TO REIKI
Reiki sessions are given through the Universal Spiritual Energy flowing through the Reiki practitioners hands. Reiki is completely safe, gentle yet powerful. Reiki is an ancient energy art and is not affiliated with any religion.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
Originally 'discovered' in Japan around 1914. Reiki has spread worldwide. It is used in hospitals, homes and businesses.
Reiki is performed by laying of hands, with the practitioner placing their hands on or above the person. It is typically felt as heat, often as if the practitioner's hands are very warm. Sometimes other phenomena are felt, such as cold, vibration, or muscle movement.
While many people find Reiki to be very spiritual, it is not religious.
There are many theories for how Reiki works:
Life force energy or ki runs through all living things. Illness, trauma, and stress create blockages in the energy flow of a human being. Reiki works to energize, break up and release these blocks.

A little about me
My name is Linda, I am a Master in the practice and teaching of Reiki. I provide healing sessions in a calm, relaxed atmosphere, in addition to teaching Reiki I & ll. The positive feedback that I have received from many of my clients, reinforces my beliefs in this awesome, natural, spiritual, and calming form of healing. My Reiki classes are taught in a warm, comfortable environment, in Simi Valley, Ca. Not only do I teach and practice this art of healing, I am also furthering my own studies and have been training in "Gayatri Mantra," another form of Reiki. This course takes approximately 18 months to learn, which is something I will be able to teach my new students. I welcome all questions and comments, most email will be answered within a 24 hour period.
